The project is an Internet hotel or server farm located in the Roeding Industrial Park in Fresno. When the last phase is completed there will be a total of 720 tons of specialized HVAC equipment installed and 36,000 lineal feet of copper refrigerant lines.

Plans for the first phase, which began in August of 2000, were only partially complete and the engineer of record was too busy to finish them. Also, the construction schedule was accelerated dramatically to the degree that shift work and overtime was required. Our engineering department completed the drawings for the first phase and preplanned the completed project. The second phase was completed in March of 2001.

Our drawings became the benchmark for the entire project and we precisely planned the equipment yard that also contained large electrical equipment. Reliability was paramount in a facility like this and ease of repair and maintenance was vital. The refrigerant piping was installed so that every unit can be accessed without stepping over a single pipe, eliminating the potential for damage.

The project was completed on time and without a change order.
