Fresno Lexus
This new 28,000-square-foot facility, designed to sell and service Toyota’s luxury car line, is located on the southeast corner of Palm and Herndon. Gordon L. Mountjoy & Associates from Rancho Margarita, California, constructed the building that is owned by the Bucky Harris family of Fresno.
The building is made of concrete, and the parking deck on the roof posed some challenges as any ducts penetrating the roof needed to avoid the structural cables encased in the concrete deck. Patton’s HVAC specialists successfully designed a solution to the problem and installed high-efficiency gas/electric units on the roof to serve the air-conditioned areas.
The architecture firm selected for this project was Dennis J. Flynn Architects of Fullerton, California. Lexus required that the building design conform to their standard. Design began in September 2004, and the building was completed December 2005.
